Using Thermal Imaging to Screen for Fevers

Entry Scan IR – Get the Best Consulting for Facility Fever Screening

The White House and the CDC sent you, right?

On April 16, 2020, the White House and CDC came out with the document: “Opening up America Again” as guidance for citizens and businesses to get back to work. You will see that in Phase One, Phase Two and Phase Three of this guidance, temperature checks are recommended for employers. Temperature checks means thermal infrared cameras installed at the entryways to your buildings.

Installing fever screening in your entryways will do three important things for your company:

  • Give your employees a sense of security and help them feel better about returning to work.
  • Make your company look like it is operated by people who care for the health and well-being of the employees and the visitors to your buildings.
  • Help mitigate lawsuits from people who entered your buildings and were infected by COVID-19 virus.

Temperature checks should not be done with “temperature guns” for many reasons. Please see our FAQs for more detail.
